River Sound Festival is a four-day intimate gathering of electronic music, art, and community. Nestled deep in the forest of Kernavė, by the Neris river, we come together to create a shared space shaped by sound, light, and nature.
Across day and night you will get to experience a carefully curated programme from hypnotic techno to ambient passages. Going beyond, our landscape of visual art, light installations, and workshops invites you to slow down, explore, and connect – both with yourself and others.
The festival is set in a scenic Valiukiškiai village just 43 km northwest of Vilnius, nestled 3km from the historic town of Kernavė – the first capital of Lithuania and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Address: River Sound Studio, Valiukiškių k. 7 Valiukiškiai, 19170
Driving is the easiest way to reach the festival. From Vilnius, it’s a 45 minute journey through the countryside. Take the A2 highway in the direction of Ukmergė, then turn left at either Avižieniai or Maišiagala. Follow the signs to Kernavė – the route is clearly marked. Parking will be available near the festival grounds.
You can take a bus from Vilnius to Kernavė – services run regularly from Vilnius Bus Station and the journey takes about an hour. From Kernavė, it’s a short ride or a pleasant 30-minute walk to the festival grounds. We recommend checking the latest bus schedules in advance.
We will also be organizing shuttle buses from Vilnius to the festival site and back. Shuttle tickets will be available for purchase online soon – follow our socials and join our festival group on Facebook.

Whether you’ve had a physical injury or just need a moment to recover, a professional team will be on hand to assist you.
While River Sound maintains a strict no-drugs policy, we recognize the reality of festival culture and take a compassionate harm-reduction approach. We will be collaborating with educational initiative BeSafeLab that aims to protect festival goers experimenting with psychoactive substances and raise awareness about their risks. By providing on-site education and support, the initiative helps reduce both substance use and the risk of accidents.
We encourage our guests to care for their own health and that of those around them, while also fostering greater consciousness among festival participants.
In case of emergencies, contact the nearest staff member or security personnel.
