You enter the dancefloor, and you know there’s going to be a journey when Marco Shuttle is behind the decks. The Italian crafts techno that feels more like a slow descent into dream logic than a linear progression. Born in Treviso, shaped by London’s experimental edges, and now based in Berlin, he moves through the fringes of the genres with a deep, cinematic touch – putting focus on atmosphere, contrast, and form.
With roots in both visual design and underground club culture, his music reveals a refined aesthetic awareness. You hear it in the way textures unfold, how rhythms breathe. Drawing on Detroit techno, acid, spiritual jazz, American minimalism and musique concrète, Shuttle’s productions blur the boundaries between the dancefloor and more abstract terrain. The grooves are meticulous, the atmosphere dense, the emotion never above the surface.
Since his breakthrough EP “The Vox Attitude” in 2011, Shuttle has got his own path – founding the Eerie label, releasing on The Bunker NY, Clone, and Semantica, and building a strong creative bond with Spazio Disponibile. His latest full-length LP on Incienso, “Cobalt Desert Oasis”, drifts even further from the grid, threading hazy melody with ghostly percussion and the unmistakable sense of cinematic gravity.Get ready for an experience.
